This Privacy Policy explains how KemaKema ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use KemaFox (the "Service"). We handle personal data in line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and applicable data-protection law.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

(1) Account data: your email address and authentication records. (2) Content you submit: the source material and links you provide for processing, and the study material generated from it. (3) Usage data: lessons created, learning activity, and product interactions. (4) Payment data: subscription and transaction records; card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us. (5) Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and log data.

3. How we use it

We use your data to provide and operate the Service, generate and store your study material, process payments and manage subscriptions and credits, prevent abuse and secure the Service, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI processing

To turn your source content into study material, the Service sends that content to AI processing providers acting on our behalf. This processing is used only to generate your study material and operate the Service.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, including our payment processor (for billing), our cloud and content- delivery infrastructure, and AI processing providers. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Storage, location and retention

Your data is stored on infrastructure we control and on the processors described above, which may be located outside your country. We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a right, contact hello@kemakema.com. You may also delete your account, which removes your personal data subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, notified to you.
